Is the shade of the night

Where justice is unraveled

And where the gavel

Declares the guilty have no guilt

The voice spoken through out the generations

Lives matter is a plea and cry

For justice and equality

To be treated as a human, in the land of the free

In the face of words, actions and rulings that say otherwise
